Did you know that... in tall varieties of tomatoes, plant growth is unlimited, so pinching stops it and accelerates the formation and ripening of set fruits?
Depending on the growing zone, large-fruited tomatoes are pinched with 2, 3, or 4 brushes.
In the middle zone, pinching is carried out on August 5-15, approximately a month before the onset of autumn frosts.
During this period, all fruits sets reach normal size.
